ACOUSTIC MUSIC JAM SESSION

Acoustic Music Jam Session - On the First and Third Sunday afternoon of each month 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Unadilla Township Hall - Folk, Bluegrass, Country, Blues, Originals...all styles and all levels welcomed! Contact Kelly Schmidt (734) 498-3609 for additional information. 

The jam sessions are hosted by the Unadilla Township Parks and Recreation Committee to provide a venue for local musicians to get together and share their interests and talents.  Most of the musicians come from within about a 10 mile radius of Gregory, Michigan although we've had guests come from the Detroit area as well.  We range from seasoned performers to beginners and include a wide range of ages.  We play all types of music including; country, bluegrass, blues, folk, gospel and even some rock & roll. We are also fortunate to have a number of talented songwriters.

Players participate at whatever level they are comfortable, but are encouraged to bring new songs, and share their musical progress with the group.  These jam sessions are particularly easy going, relaxing and enjoyable.  A typical jam includes guitars, bass, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, harmonica and banjo.  All acoustic instruments are welcomed.   "If you just want to come and listen to the music, that's fine too!!"
