ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY

Unadilla Township is a sportsperson's wonderland. The Pinckney Recreation Area and the Lakeland Trail have an array of non-motorized paths that are well suited for hiking, trail biking and horseback riding.

Bruin Lake Campground has modern camping with seasonal flush toilets,  showers, sanitation station, electricity, playground, beach and fishing pier.

There are 215 campsites and swimming. The boat launch at Bruin Lake provides access to a chain of seven lakes of the Pinckney Recreation Area. The campground opens the end of March and is open through November.

The Sandhill Soaring Club (SSC) is a cooperative, nonprofit organization that exists to provide an educational opportunity for its members to learn to fly gliders and to enjoy the sport of soaring.  SSC conducts its flight operations at Richmond Field located on D-32 at Howlett Rd.  The club offers glider rides to the public.

The Lakeland Trail provides an excellent non-motorized hiking and trail-biking path that stretches from Hamburg Township and Pinckney to Stockbridge.

The annual Gregory 4'th of July Festivities gets kicked off by the Fourth of July parade held in downtown Gregory.  The parade begins at 12:00 noon and hosts over 100 entries.

After the parade, there is an afternoon filled with special activities and entertainment for the entire family.  At dark, there is a beautiful fireworks display held at the Gregory Softball Ball Diamond off of Church St.

We are proud of our farming heritage.  Family farming has been a way of life in our community for over 150 years.  Unadilla Farms produce corn, soybeans, hay, wheat, and dairy products.

If you have any questions about our community or if we can be of assistance, please feel free to contact us.
