Officer Garry J. Flanary
Garry Flanary joined the Unadilla Township Police Department in September 2005 as a reserve police officer. Ofc. Flanary is a 2003 graduate of the Schoolcraft College Police Reserve Officer Training Academy and has completed criminal justice and liberal arts classes at Lansing Community College. He has completed instructor development training with the National Rifle Association Law Enforcement Activities Division (NRALEAD) and is certified to instruct law enforcement in both and handgun and shotgun disciplines. He is a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), and the National Rifle Association Law Enforcement Activities Division (NRALEAD), and he is currently serving as the department in-house training coordinator. He has served as a field officer for the 53rd, 66th, and 71A District Courts, since November 1999 enforcing civil orders, attaching property and perfecting warrant arrests, and is Certified as a Court Officer with the Michigan Court Officer Deputy Sheriff Association (MCODSA).
