Unadilla Township Regular Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Supervisor Peterson.  Present:  Peterson, Topping, Mahler, Krueger, Cowan.  Absent: None.  Pledge to flag led by Supervisor.  Agenda amended adding 7, A.  Lawn bids. Adding 8, F : appoint alternate Sewer board representative, 8, G.  add attorney Burns.  8, H. appoint recreation board member.  Carried.  Motion Krueger support Mahler to approve consent agenda including minutes of April  regular meeting and payment of bills.  Carried.  Call to Public:  None.  Zoning Report:  written report available.  Planning Report:  by Cowan.  Recreation Report:  by Wisman.  May 21st is clean up day on trails.  Survey of Unadilla Ball field donated by Darryl HughesMick Watters has offered to donate grading of ball fields.  They are looking into senior nutrition program along with many other programs for seniors.  Multi Lakes Sewer:  Discussion of proposed expansion and fees.  Discussed O & M fees.  Police Report:  by Chief Cook.  Fire Report: by Chief Schroeder.  Note the Church of Nazarene is holding a spaghetti dinner on May 20th  from 5:30 to 8:30 to raise funds for 4th of July.  Lawn bids presented by Supervisor, Motion Krueger support Mahler to approve lowest bid of K & T Lawn Care.  Carried.  Motion Krueger support Cowan to hold special election in August for roads, using same language as last election 1 mill for 5 years.  Carried.  Motion Krueger support Mahler to approve County Planning as new planner, much discussion of costs, concern of conflict, etc.  Opposed Cowan.  Carried.  Motion Krueger support Cowan to approve fire department recommendation of their chain of command officers as presented.  Carried.  Motion Mahler support Cowan to approve new HSC assessing contract, increase of $50.00 per month.  Carried.  Motion Peterson support Mahler to approve flag lot language for zoning change. Carried.  Motion Krueger support Topping to approve Joe Mahler as alternate to sewer board.  Carried.  Motion Peterson support Krueger to appoint Paul Burns as additional legal legal council.  Discussion and explanation that this is just in addition to Foster, Swift, Collins and Smith, they remain our council also.  Opposed Cowan.  Carried.  Motion Krueger support Cowan that we appoint Laura Egnash as a recreation committee member, this is replacing Diane Constable who has resigned sighting conflicting schedule issues.  Carried.  Final Call to Public:  Meeting adjourned at 8:23 p.m. motion Krueger support  Peterson.  Carried.
