Reports: Stockbridge Area Education Foundation report on grants given by Topping. Pat Haniford Auditor presented draft of audit report, everything was excellent. Planning report by Krueger. Police report by Chief Cook. Motion Krueger support Cowan to hire new officer Kevin Henry as part-time officer. Carried. Officer Shepard assisted in apprehension of fleeing suspect by utilizing the stop sticks. Fire report by Chief Schroeder. Fire Marshall from Hamburg donated time to do fire inspection of township hall for senior program certification. Monitoring leak on pumper. Fuel pump leak on tanker fixed. Recreation report by Cowan, they didn’t meet last month but run has been postponed to spring. We received clean up day grant from Livingston County. Senior Program report by Mahler. Zoning report by Peterson. Election report by Topping. New Business: Discussion on selling police car on eBay. Treasurer to get information. Work meeting with Planning Commission tentatively set for Sept. 12, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. Work meeting with Fire Dept. tentatively set for Sept. 5, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Final Call to Public: Chief Cook reports tree blocking Lakeland Trail west of Arnold Rd.
