Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Williams at 7:30 p.m. Present: Williams, Mahler, Krueger, Cowan. Absent: Topping. Pledge to flag led by Supervisor Williams. Moment of silence for Ronald Reagan. Consent agenda set as presented. Carried. Motion Cowan support Krueger to approve bills. Carried. First call to the public: None. Road report: Supervisor Williams states we have received no complaints and that she received a call from a resident that said they are doing an excellent job. The first application is done. Zoning report handed out. Planning Commission report given by Cowan. Parks and Recreation hearing at lasts months meeting went well. They amended the Private Road text and extended more time to review the Diefenthaler site plan. Senior Help Day: Will be held October 14th , flu and pneumonia shots will be available. Police Report: Chief Cook reports that the department has received their stop sticks. There will be seven officers available for the fourth of July. The L-55 car needs new brakes on all four wheels. Fire report: Chief Schroeder reports they are looking at 2 applications. They are currently four short of a full rooster. They will be washing the streets again on July 2nd. New Business: Porta-Potties for the fourth of July- Wild Sanitation will be donating one porta pottie and the township will need to rent 3 more at $320.00. Motion Kruger second Mahler to rent 3 more porta-potties. All in favor, motion carries. Employee Handbook: Discussion over changes suggested by attorney. Mahler motions to adopt employee handbook taking effect June 11th 2004. All in favor motion carries. Fire Department Roof: Mahler makes motion to go with the bid to replace the roof from Armstrong Roofing Company. Krueger seconds. All in favor. Motion carries. Final call to the public: None. Meeting adjourned at 7:48 p.m. Motion Krueger support Williams. Carried.
